Rural Exchange

Policy

There are a suite of policies that govern and guide land use and land reform in Scotland. A new Land Reform Bill was introduced in 2024, the Just Transition Committee will be sharing results shortly, there is a new Agriculture and Rural Communities Bill on the horizon which will replace the current Common Agricultural Policy, and a new Climate Change Plan is also due shortly.

We will keep you up-to-date on these developments and provide our thoughts on the details as they emerge.
