Stage 2: Evidence Review

SRUC is leading a review of existing evidence, for Stage 2 of the project.  This has been be informed by, and informed, the other stages of the project. 

This work was organised into six packages:

  1. Evidence on a process and implementation evaluation.
  2. Review of available data for Community Led Local Development, Scottish Rural Action, Scottish Rural Network .  
  3. Review of the policy and delivery context.  This was published in June 2025. 
  4. Additional evidence to consider.  This will build on the 2024 Desk based review of rural community interventions. 
  5. UK and International case studies exploring different rural community development models. This was published in October 205. 
  6. Other Reporting as needed.
